Carlos Medina
After finishing his first experience as a Highschool coach at Killian Senior Highschool, Carlos was hired by Felix Varela Senior High where he is the current head coach of the Varsity girls team. Carlos is also the head coach of the U12 Girls team at Tropical Impact where he's been coaching a beginner group of girls for the second year and gives group training sessions for kids and teens of different ages and experience.
Carlos was born in Argentina and played at Club Atletico River Plate. His experience as a goalkeeper allowed him to play with many teams and participate in many tournaments in places in Europe and South America.
As a coach, Carlos holds a USSF C National License and a Level 3 Goalkeeper Coach Certification from the NSCAA. He started coaching goalkeepers at Soccer Paradise Soccer Club before coaching teams. At Davie United he coached for 3 years before moving to Tropical Impact.
